Most of the greatest artists of each period are represented in the National Gallery, in many cases by some of their greatest works. See Van Gogh’s ‘Sunflowers’, Constable’s ‘The Haywain’, Turner’s ‘The Fighting Temeraire’, Titan’s ‘Bacchus and Ariadne’, Caravaggio’s ‘Supper at Emmaus’ and many more famous works. An introduction to art history illustrated with some of the greatest works in western European art.
