Highlights of London Tour

Your tour guide in London will take you on  a walk through Westminster seeing all the famous sites Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Horse Guards, Whitehall, Number 10 Downing Street, St James’s park, Buckingham Palace. We will also watch the guard change at Buckingham Palace or Horse Guards depending on the guard change schedule on the day. Then we visit Westminster Abbey where all our kings and queens have been crowned since 1066, it is a very fine example of gothic architecture. Then we will take a black taxi cab or the Tube to the City of London and see St Paul’s Cathedral. After a short break for lunch we then walk through some of the charming streets and alleyways of the City of London, the oldest part of London to reach the Tower of London. Alternatively we can take the Tube or a Black taxi cab. This highlights of London tour will finish with a tour of the Tower of London which will include the crown jewels.

Westminster Abbey

The stunningly beautiful gothic architecture of Westminster Abbey is the setting for coronations, royal weddings and funerals. A place of Christian worship for over 750 years, the burial place of monarchs and many other distinguished people and a fine example of magnificent gothic architecture.

Tower of London

The oldest part of His Majesty’s palace and fortress, the Tower of London was built for William the Conqueror in the 1070s. It has been a royal residence, a prison and it is still the place where the crown jewels are kept and we will see them. The only prisoners today are the ravens. It is also the place where two kings of England were murdered and three queens beheaded. Hear fascinating stories from English history.
