Greenwich Tour

Visit the elegant Queen’s House, designed by Inigo Jones for James I’s wife Anne of Denmark, it was the first fully classical building to be built in England. Admire the beautiful proportions of the cube room and some paintings from the art collection. We also visit  the Painted Hall and Chapel of the Old Royal Naval College. The Painted Hall known as Britain’s ‘Sistine Chapel’ is considered one of the most spectacular baroque interiors in Europe. We also visit the Cutty Sark the 19th century tea clipper ship, see the Royal Observatory and of course stand on the Meridian Line.  Return to central London on the Docklands Light Railway.
