Highlights of the Victoria and Albert Museum
Founded by Prince Albert with the proceeds of the Great Exhibition, the collections span 2000 years of human creativity in virtually every medium from all over the world – painting, sculpture, glass, ceramics, furniture, textiles and more. This tour of the Victoria and Albert Museum will include highlights from the sculpture gallery, the Islamic gallery, the Chinese and Japanese galleries, the medieval and renaissance galleries, the jewellery galleries and will also include the Raphael Cartoons and the work of some iconic British designers in the British Galleries.
